Sheriff John was so nice, we took pics with him. I absolutely loved.that place and the little store. I loved going in there and looking at the fish. I was about 5 yrs old. Such great memories!!! On the pier located at Elephant Rock in Tiburon. The first one caught on Sardine was bigger than the crab net used to bring up the enormous fish with wing spanned at an estimated size of 4 ft and from tip of the mouth to the end of tail to around 5 feet there was several witnesses who had seen the battle going on directly in front of the famous restaurant My son caught 3 bat rays on the same day on Mother’s Day weekend on May of 2024.

My mother has asked several times the name neither of us can recall does anyone remember this restaurant? Caught one opaleye on a small jig fly, and the other simply casting a single hook with a piece of corn on it, using my fly rod. Next trip will give corn a try. I too was in the Anderson Valley Marine Biology class with Ms Wallace. It was my favorite class and still remember fishing in Point Arena (a pier I think it was) and catching a little tiny shark.
